1. Corporate Structure & Shell Disclosure

Helix Reference Co. is a distinct trade name and front-facing brand used for marketing, sales, and customer communications. Savage Sequence LLC is the legal entity of record that holds inventory, processes payments, fulfills orders, and assumes contractual obligations. By placing an order, the buyer contracts with Savage Sequence LLC; Helix Reference Co. serves solely as the consumer-facing brand and has no independent legal standing to enter contracts or assume liability.

2. Intended Use & Buyer Representations

All products listed are reference materials intended exclusively for laboratory and in-vitro research. The buyer represents and warrants that they are at least 21 years of age, a qualified researcher or institutional scientist, and authorized to possess and handle such materials under all applicable federal, state, and local laws. The buyer further confirms that products will not be used for human or veterinary consumption, self-administration, diagnostic purposes, or any therapeutic application.

3. Assumption of Risk

The buyer assumes all risk associated with the purchase, handling, storage, transport, and use of reference materials. Savage Sequence LLC and its trade name Helix Reference Co. make no claims regarding safety, efficacy, or suitability for any particular research outcome. The buyer acknowledges that research compounds carry inherent hazards and agrees to follow proper laboratory safety protocols.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Savage Sequence LLC (and its trade name Helix Reference Co.) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to the purchase, use, misuse, or - inability to use any product, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, loss of profits, or regulatory penalties. In no event shall total liability exceed the amount actually paid by the buyer for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

5. Indemnification

The buyer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Savage Sequence LLC, its officers, members, agents, and the Helix Reference Co. brand from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to the buyer’s purchase, possession, use, or misuse of any product, violation of applicable law, or breach of these terms.

6. No Medical or Legal Advice

Nothing on this website, in product descriptions, or in customer communications constitutes medical, legal, or regulatory advice. Buyers are solely responsible for determining the legality of possessing, transporting, and using research materials in their jurisdiction. Savage Sequence LLC does not provide dosing, administration, or safety guidance for human or animal use.

7. Regulatory & FDA Disclaimer

These products have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or any comparable regulatory body. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. Any reference to pharmacological activity is provided strictly for research context and does not constitute a claim of therapeutic benefit.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or the purchase of products shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Dallas County, Texas, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs.

9. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of this disclaimer is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. This disclaimer, together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between the buyer and Savage Sequence LLC regarding the purchase of reference materials.
